this is new to me.. not sure if i like it or not..my friend Camille has always disliked bumpers but I think they seem cozy…of course I understand how they MIGHT not be safe but not sure if I totally buy it..Drew did stand on his so he could get out of the crib but who knows what he might have done with something like this?? I do think it looks sort of odd to have the fringe up top and not in the traditional bumper position??
**edited to say: I am expecting Baby #2..thought I had mentioned that here< igot questions inthe comments so thought i better make it clear!..SO there will be lots of nursery decor talk coming up so BEWARE!

I take it that these are purely decorative? The scallops and fabric are cute. I think I would use it as an extra layer over the dust ruffle.

P.S. Why are you considering crib accessories
?

Congratulations Holly! I’m not sure what I think of the inverted bumper idea (that’s what they look like to me). I don’t think they would last too long…they will get pulled on as the baby sits, pulls up etc… Can’t wait to see all your nursery ideas! Hope you had a Merry Christmas!

I actually really like it! But you’re right…who knows what they’ll be doing with it? Maybe wipe their crying snot, or spit up? Hmmmmm. I’d get one anyways
Why do I keep thinking you’re having a girl?

Congratulations! Twice the fun, Four times the work!
I like the fringe. If I were a baby I would like to see out my crib, and the bumpers get in the way.

Congrats…I kind of wondered when I saw the post with the little Christmas stocking. Looking forward to the nursery ideas (kids rooms are always fun!)
