This is SUCH a bummer… If all we have to look at is ONE magazine by the time the ‘melt down’ is over… what will it be?!
I wonder what is going on…. are we not buying magazines anymore? Is there too much of the same thing in too many different publications? I can’t imagine how it’s all falling off–readership, I mean— THIS fast!
Very sad.

Well that’s just great. I was thinking that at least Country Home was a step (although be it a big one) under Cottage Living as far as somewhat of the same concept. If someone tells me Domino is next, I guess I won’t be subscibing to anything anymore ;(.

I am so sad too. I know designer Heather Chadduck works for that magazine alot. She lives in Bham, as I do. Maybe she will need some work and take my house on as a charity case. I had subscripts to that mag as well as Englebriet. Sad indeed. All great reads.

So what’s the deal? With as many subscriptions as we all have, I’m really surprised so many are shutting down. Maybe they’re going to be strictly web based?
