I brought home these various “sticks of furniture” this weekend..i cant wait to get to work on them..isnt the pink table soo cute?! I love the color. and the blue bookshelf..love it. as is.

I cant decide what to do with the dresser..i dont think i will paint numbers on it because of the knob placement. It would be darling painted red but the walls in D’s new room are red..so it will probably be chalkboard black, or kelly green (distressed)…any thoughts??

    Oh, you lucky. girl.

Love the pink…makes me sad I gave up a table like that to my neighbor…she painted hers red and uses as a game table in her playroom. You will get lots of use out of that. The bookshelves…so sweet…the color is perfect and I can so see a sweet little nest tucked into it. Is this for Drew or N.B.? (new baby).

Used to be…I’d paint everything…dark wood was not for me…especially not in a kid’s room. I just yesterday put a dark dresser in my boys’ room…kind of like it. The thought is still hanging around…”paint it red”…but we shall see.

It’s all adorable…can’t wait to hear about tomorrow!

What if you put on the kelly green… rubbed back the edges…. added “worm holes” with an ice pick… did a tiny brown glaze to go into the worm holes and “speckled” it with the same glaze. Fun…

LOVE – LOVE – all the pieces. The pink table is my fav. Truly adorable.

The bookcase seems perfect as is. I think the dresser would be fabulous painted black – would really pop against the red walls and would be perfect for a boys style and sophisticated at the same time.

Can’t wait to see your after pictures. :)

What local places do you scour to snag such great finds. Love them? Still not familiar enough with Beaumont to know what’s close enough. Looking forward to a trip to Canton in the spring though, on the way to my parents in Dallas. So we stop whenever we can. Congrats on baby boy #2. Too fun!

I’m so jealous of your finds! :) I have been scouring the area for a REAL wood desk to redo for my scrapbooking, crafts, sewing, etc. but all to no avail. Maybe I should just drive to Texas and come shop with you? ;)
