I am not joking, maybe i should be..but what do you think of this..for a baby girl’s nursery..there must be a fan..smallish room so not a lot of extra corner space for seperate little chandelier to hang and of course the mom and I want her to have a cute little light?? a part of me screams NO!!!!!!!!! another part thinks “well we could cover the shades in a little tan stripe and add a very simple strand of bling, nothing diva-ish” thoughts?? am i losing ALL credibility?? if so, i blame it on pregnancy!;;

    It is what it is…hang the fan! I finally decided not to hate all mine…I can't…I live in Alabama!

    Keep it real…hang the fan. :)

    I live in a house that the earlier owners thought was too "cool" for fans. HELLO! This is Alabama! Fans help bring down utility costs too.

    Ditto what Sarah said! Make it as adorable as possible and hang it in the baby's room.

    Keeping it real = credibility. :)

    I am a hate fan person..but if its for the comfort of a baby suck it up and do it, but please dont do a light…Yuck. It brings attention to the fan, the whole thing should be the same color as the ceiling.

    I have a ceiling fan in my family room, and have been plotting to remove it for years. But, after we got a puppy, now I love it – it disperses the smells so well!

    So, now I have started to use the ceiling fan in my own bedroom (which I never really used before), and I love it.

    I vote keep the fan. If its what makes you comfortable in the room then keep it! Plus, I really want to see what you do to it to dress it up. Sounds cute!

    I say keep it. I have one in my living room I recently changed out from a cheapo to something that's at least pretty. Some things are a necessary evil – and I think a ceiling fan is on that list.

    I am from Alabama and a fan is a must in every bedroom! We just overlook the design flaws and appreciate the gentle breezes that grace the room.

    Sorry, I hate ceiling fans. Aside from the looks element – I think they are just huge dust collectors and not great for kids rooms.

    I hate the look of fans but need them! The chany on it only draws extra (unwanted) attention to it. Keep it simple.

    I would do it. It will be great for background noise and you can make it look great!

    I live in Texas I must have a fan at least in the bedroom and the kitchen or I'll self combust! Although this post makes me realize how I really need to update them.

    …built a house in Katy…chose not to put fans in my children's upstairs bedrooms…they are DYING from this heat and one finds his way to our bedroom nearly every night. Holly, please post the manufacturer of that cute fan and I'll order one right away!!!
