I’ve gotten so many sweet inquiries as to how big brother is handling the new baby..i am thrilled to report that Drew is doing great..we had some awkward moments in the hospital but he warmed up fast and has even been giving visitors “the rules” upon their arrival. It has been a lot of fun watching them get to know one another…i know there will be bumps but so far, big Brother has been a real sport.

My friend Lynsey captured this sweet picture of them on Thursday..thanks friend!
and a couple more of baby Henry, 4 days old here!

Oh.my.gosh. They are soooooooooo cute. And little Henry looks like you, I think. Of course, I've never seen you, but from your pictures I reckon he looks like you. Just darling. You are doing so good for having a newborn my dear!

Oh Holly! Henry is absolutely gorgeous (in a manly, sweet baby way)!
Honestly, I hear that's the way to go: space the kiddos out at least three or four years apart. They adjust to each other so much better that way. It's hard to do that because of baby fever, but I'll know better next time
I'm so glad you're keeping in touch with us!!! Even a post with a pic or two is just enough to satisfy our "Holly cravings." Happy Sunday!

My two "kids", now 23 and 25, are 21 months apart….for better or worse…when Nicolas realized my baby belly was gone he thought he could sit in my lap again, but of course the C-section made that out of the question; then he cried all night because the baby slept in our room while he had to sleep in the big boy bed in his room…but sweet, tiny Natalie slept through the first night at home…and Mama leaked milk all over herself! We have a similar picture of the two of them on Nick's bed…with Nick looking enormous and Natalie tiny…they live on their own now, he in Houston, she in Dallas, but they text, call or email each other EVERY DAY! Have since she left for TCU in '04…they did this without any prompts from me…and your two boys will also love each other this way when they are young men…ours grew up in a house full of faith, hope and LOVE…and so do yours!!

They are both just adorable. And Drew truly looks like a proud big brother!
But could you blame him if he didn't take it so well? He's been the center of attention for quite a while.
I remember each time I brought a new baby home, my toddler all of a sudden seemed so big…and it felt like someone put bricks in their pants while I was away. Because they were suddenly so heavy to pick up.
Enjoy this precious time! It's such a blessing.
