yes you read correctly, i am doing a blog post on JC Penney..yep! Today i went in a new and improved JC penney store because it has a Sephora…how genius is that…smart move JCP people..anyway, we all know they have the American Living (a Ralph thing) line which is so so in my opinion except for this quilt which i have always loved..you could do so much with it mixed with other fabrics..(and it is 50-70% off!)we actually nearly used this quilt in hudson’s room but it doesnt come in a twin..

anyway so aside from the usual hit or miss American Living things, i also spotted these cute things today..vintage looking game boards…they arent as large are quite the statement pieces as this from Pottery Barn but they are $29…much cuter than PB knockoffs i saw at Target today and would look really cute together in a family room, kids room or displayed together with some old game board…or old wheels etc..

so there you go..another budget option when you dont have time to trudge around Round Top (you gotta read Joni’s less than enthusiastic post) or the $$$ to get the PB knockoffs of the antique…go for the knockoff of the knockoff…at good ole’ JCP!

You're so right! It's not "Your Mother's JCPenny" anymore!
I've been loving JCP for a while now, no one can believe it when you tell them it's from JCP. Love the quilt too.
Your work is fab. I just started a blog. I would love it you check me out.

I've had good luck with standard curtains at Penney's, too. We actually have that quilt in our extra bedroom. It's perfect for a guest room, very homey. =) Glad to hear I'm not the only one to love it.
