at $49, you should be able to replace the shade and still have a very reasonably priced lamp.
I love it!

I totally love this lamp! I saw some very similar at TJ Max and Target. I'm really digging the glass lamp……let's just hope someone doesn't butcher a good lamp by filling it with seashells like they did in the 90s:)
Love ya!

I bought the smaller, more squat version, which does have a drum shade. I love it. It's perfect in our nursery because the squat shape keeps me from knocking it over. I am not crazy about the tone of the light the flourescent bulb puts out, though.

The only thing I am coming up with for decorating it is fleur de lis stencil and etching cream. For the inside you could take about 100 2 x 2 photos of your family, fold in half to give some depth and throw them in caddywampus – that would make people study it… This is a hard one!
