I am already getting emails from people wanting to freshen things up after putting away the Christmas decorations and looking forward to a new year and fresh start…I feel the same way. I plan to work on my upstairs bathroom this year even though it is rarely seen… I know it is up there!

Maybe you aren’t ready for a major redo or project…maybe just a few new pillows or simple window treatment is all you need or have time for. These fabrics from Calico Corners are perfect ..and don’t be intimidated if you go in their stores and notice things are a little different and much of the fabric is now special order…you can always order SAMPLES, for $7 and free shipping you can order 18 x 27 “swatches”..perfect for pillows.

What decorating goals do you have for your home in 2010???

OMG!!! FABRIC!!
I had forgotten you had an upstairs bathroom! I can’t wait to see what you do with it. Can I see the before pictures?? ;-0
My decorating goals for 2010 (in no particular order)- finish painting all the rooms currently wearing tester splotches (which would be 95% of them); move K’s room from upstairs to downstairs & J from downstairs to upstairs (in hopes that K will start sleeping in his own bed this year); begin kitchen/laundry room redo (bahahahah!); finish putting playroom together (after finishing painting).
I think I’ll start by putting the Christmas decorations away! *hugs*

Hey! Okay, 2010 goals… I think just try to stay organized. Always a tough one. I enjoyed coming up with some quick solutions to some old problems over the Christmas break…
And just to continue with “simplifying”… in whatever way that needs to happen. I want our home to be functional and pretty, which can be tough with all these boy’s clothes and toys everywhere!
I would also love to work on me and Dusty’s bedroom, but we will have to locate the funds for that first. I’d rather vacation!
Love ya and Happy New Year!
Missy

I always think they have the MOST beautiful fabrics. I especially like the ones in the first picture.
