I did go back to Round Top for a third day. I wasn’t going to go again but it worked out last Thursday so Henry and I headed to Marburger and Zapp Hall. I saw two interesting things…
Yes that is a cupcake with wings and it belongs to Sisterbelles….the camper turned cupcake shack parked on the road near Zapp Hall…very cute and very popular.
Complete with cupcake “lounge area”..this is more my speed than the Junky Gypsey prom!
I also saw the display below near Zapp under the white tent..I love the ropes in front of the paintings,,,paintings on clipboards no less…and the shells on the tables..fun eye candy. Love the old artists’ palettes. {edited to add: this booth by Gina of Country Garden Antiques in Dallas, Texas..so glad to find this information!}
Don’t get me wrong, we saw more interesting sites but this is all I photographed..I must say the most intriguing thing I saw was the Magnolia Pearl “girls” milling around inside the Magnolia Pearl booth at Marburger..they looked strangely angelic walking around inside their little oasis in their flowy garments…
The bookpage covered tree was really cool, and the burlap covering the parameters of their booth that looked like blonde dreads was very unique. If you go to her blog you can look on the sidebar and watch them build their Marburger booth…the most recent show is not on there but hopefully it will be soon..it is has less color and is a different look. All very artistic and fun to watch. Enjoy!

Great post! I love seeing different little small businesses like these. And I had never head of Magnolia Pearl. I just checked out their blog. Lots of inspirational images. Thanks Holly!

well, I haven’t met a cupcake I didn’t like! I will look for sisterbelles next time- I miss so much of the fun stuff, since I’m working two shows! I may have to come earlier next year so I can tromp around the fields!

What fun! I’ve also liked the Magnolia Pearl look…but don’t think I could pull it off.

Hi Holly,
I too adored the little Cupcake Trailer. And I’m with you on it being more my cup of tea than getting drunk while wearing a tutu.
I forgot to take a photo of that gallery wall and really admired it as well. Guess I was too busy spending money at the time.
If I head back in the fall would love to get a chance to visit with you!
Smiles,
H

Hi Holly, thanks for stopping by. I was set up at Zapp Hall too, right across from my friend Gina that you posted a picture of the table with shells. I actually came across your website many moons ago way before blogs and had it bookmarked for the longest. I will start my Marburger posts tomorrow since I took so many pics it will take several posts to do. And, I absolutely love Leftover’s, it’s one of my fav shops. Have a great Sunday, Theresa
