My precious grandmother passed away earlier this week. I’ve been in my hometown helping with her funeral arrangements and spending time with family.
Growing up, I spent a lot of time with my granny. Much of my love of old things and appreciation for beauty came from her.
Thanks to all of my current clients for their patience and prayers.

My great-grandparents, with my grandmother, their oldest daughter, the 3rd of 12 children

Hi Sweetie, How were the services? I know Aunt Nell was loved by so many of her nieces and nephews….and grand nieces and nephews. Has anyone ever even counted all of us? I know it must have been hard to say goodbye but we know she is in a better place. We are all sending our love your way. xoxo

My great uncle passed away this passed Monday, he was my grandmothers baby brother. Unc Bill was gay so it was like I had 3 grandparents. We always had holidays at the house he shared with his “roommate”. I have many wonderful memories. Memories and pictures are the priceless gifts that will remain with us to remind and be passed on of times gone by. Some how I did not feel so sad, he had a great long life….everyone loved uncle bill… but he was old…and our bodies don’t last forever even though our spirits do.
Sympathies,
Dabney

I am so sorry for you and your family. My Nanna passed away two years ago at 99 and I still miss her very much. Amazing how much our family passes on to us (good and bad!) Please know that you are being thought of on the East Coast.

Very sorry to hear your loss. Your picture is precious, however! So much so it inspired me to sit down with my Dad and jot a few notes about my great grandparents and family. I have been brewing on some family history themes I want to decorate around. Old pictures are priceless. Blessings for peaceful days ahead.
