Work on the office continues and it is turning in to a really fun project.  It’s a lot of work to do multiple rooms (and sofas) at once (and fast!), running all over Houston in the July heat but it is fun when people get excited and like how things start to come together…here is a sneak peek…

Isn’t that deer so interesting;;  I love it!  It looks like Wilton Armatele but its from Pier One… I really wanted to buy some caribou horns I saw today but they were too tall for the ceiling;(..I love horns and hides I must admit, I guess I am a little Texas after all!  But only when mixed with things like these urns below..I really wanted this trio from a nearby antique store but we went for larger and more vibrant reproductions for a console in the conference room.. You can never go wrong mixing in blue and white to lighten up dark, masculine (this is a heavily ”male” office;;) spaces…Blue and white continues to be one of my all time favorite things!

Ignore the sofa and painting in the background..These photos are all from my blackberry obviously!;;  This antique store was full of great stuff..awesome selection..next to a TJMaxx on Memorial in Houston, in the Nottingham/Kirkwood area..right outside of the tollway..near Memorial Drive Methodist Church..wish I knew the name of the store..you should check it out if in the area..great stuff..

Stay tuned for more on The Office!

    Wow good stuff! Love that hide pillow, where did it come from?

    Stacie, That deer pillow is from the Arrangement near the Galleria, i think it cost more than one of the chairs!;; (dont tell the boss!) That was my plan of attack, very budget furniture and just a few splurges to tie together and finish off! But the floor hide came from IKEA and they are cheaper there than most western stores! Canton has good hides too and hide pillows….We bought hide pillows for the Hyacinth/pioneer woman project at a really good price online..i can find out from here!… Ian needs animal hide in his life!;;

    I go to that antique store all the time! I think it’s called Rummel Creek Antiques.

    Oh, thanks for the tip on the antique store. I am always looking for a good antique store. That is close to my “hood” :) . I will have to check it out – have you ever been to MAI consigned at Voss & I-10 in the memorial area? I have gotten a bunch of great steals from there!

    Spent hours today in High Fashion Home (downtown Houston) and saw some antlers similar to your deer head. I saw a gorgeous linen sofa with a bounty of nail heads on it. Delish!

    I love the almost pewter looking deer head…what a find from Pier 1. I also loved the blue and white urns, what’s not to love about blue and white. I can hardly wait to see the finished office.

    Glad you found your blue and white! You deserve a super hero cape for how quickly you’ve pulled this together. Great job, my friend! Xo…Linsey
