This fabric is not made in Mississippi or inspired by Mississippi as far as I know.  But I purchased it at the Linen Shop while on vacation there and it just feels like Mississippi to me…and I love it. I can so see it paired with a geometric print although really I have no plans for this fabric (though I did have a certain client in mind when I saw it) but I just had to have a couple of yards..crazy I know but it just felt like the perfect fabric when I saw it..does this sound strange or can anyone identify?!  I mean really,  it’s a floral but not too fussy or tightly spaced..it has a nice barkcloth texture, a neutral background AND colorful too..so a little rustic but gorgeous and green and verdant as well.  I am going to start quoting Faulkner if I don’t stop rambling so here is the fabric by Braemore…Oh and if you live in Miss. you should definetely check out the Linen Shop..great selection and prices and an amazing store next door called Plantation Interiors (their website does not do them justice, they have amazing tables and lights) you must visit in person if nearby!

Do YOU have a fabric that reminds you of a place or region..tell me about it!

{Oh and I also bought a smidge of this and this… I know, it’s a problem but they were great prices..less than wholesale!}

    That fabric definitely feels like M’ssippi! I love it! And no you’re not crazy for just buying fabric just because…I do it all the time. :)

    Now that is just a whole lot of prettiness! I have a weakness for florals, as you know, and this one would have made it home with me too!
