Boat report

We had a great party this morning celebrating with Drew’s Kindergarten class!

I simply splayed and glued the straws to the boats like yall suggested!  So easy.. Remember the boats and straws came from Garnish. I precut little cardstock masts, pre-slit to easily slide over the straws, I could have notched the corners and weathered the paper but didnt and it wasnt needed really…still super cute even without bookpages or any extras..just the straws and bare boats were darling i thought!

{Notice the floral fabric in the background, it’s a keeper! I ordered more!}

OK back to the boats, I used this template but they did NOT need instructions, they were ALL OVER this idea!

I didnt know if they would be interested in the little card or clothes pins..they loved them! The little clothes pins are from a great online store called OLIVE MANNA.  More on this place soon.  I also ordered little kraft paper pennant stickers from there that we simply placed on top of the straw for an extra flag on the mast..

So easy and again the kids loved!

Here is my little cutie Pilgrim!

I wish I could show the entire class in their cute hats, especially the girl pilgrim bonnets..adorable, template from Paper Source.

Thanks for helping me with this project! Good luck with your preparations for Thursday!
