Refurbish

My client Joie had two chairs she wasn’t crazy about and was willing to pitch them.  I suggested we rework them with paint and linen and voila!  They turned out great.  Tamara Moore a decorative painter in Houston did the work (Joie has two little ones under two so she doesn’t really have time!) and she did a great job.  You can see Tamara’s work at Memorial Antique and Interiors in Houston if you live in the area. If not this is certainly a project you can tackle on your own!

Joie used a linen (elephant gray color) from fabric.com for new cushions and we added extra long ties for a ballerina look from the back!

Pillow from Target!

Good job Joie and Tamara!

  1. I have been searching for a nice charcoal (but lighter) linen. It looks charcoal in the picture. I am going to order a sample. Great post!

  2. WOW! What a transformation! I’m so ashamed, that I can’t even write you back 😉 I swear, one of these days I’m going to get that frame in the mail to you. It’s been sitting by my door for so long, it needs a new gift tag! SO ashamed…..

  13. Beautiful. And the pillow from Target? Love! You could have told me you sewed that out of $200 fabric and I’d believe you.

  14. Great chairs, but I have a question, what is that yummy font you use to write out “Before” and “After”?
