I love my new necklace that came in the mail recently. I have other handstamped necklaces with silver and pearls but i love this one because of the gold disk.
Sweet Amber at Starfish Design makes these wonderful necklaces and more. Notice the chain. Delicate but sturdy.
I kind of browsed through Amber’s designs and wanted her to change this design up a bit by adding a gold disk…She was happy to do it…And Drew loves it too because at school he is known as “Drew M” so he thinks this is especially “custom” or as he likes to say “professional!”
And of course I love her monogram necklace.
She really has some sweet things and like i said i love the touch of gold color she adds to many of her things..whether it is an initial or heart..just ask!

I LOVE Amber and Starfish!! We custom designed a gift for Christmas. I have been meaning to email her and tell her….the Godmother necklace we created was a huge hit, that left the Godmother in tears! I think I’ve settled on the Stella. I had a hard time deciding because I have 4 kids and 3 of them have names that start with an ‘A’. I guess if I were to order one, I’d order the Stella and add two more tags so I could have all 4 kids hanging around my neck. (Actually, they do that anyway!)

Sorelle! No question! There is a story within the disability community about a little boy on a beach who is throwing stranded starfish back into the water to save them. A man sees the little boy trying to save the starfish and tells the little boy that he can’t possibly make a difference because he can’t save all the starfish stuck on the beach. The little boy picks up another starfish, throws it back into the water and says to the man, “I made a difference to that one”…. Kind-of how I see my life’s work.
My favorite is the Lauren necklace. I would have to add one more name though for my 3rd kiddo!
I’ve been eying this type of necklace for a while now but haven’t taken the plunge to purchase one. I love them all but I think I’d go with the Mallorie necklace. Although, the Grace and mini Lauren are right up there too!

The simplicity of it all just makes me smile and(!) makes me want to move to the beach….. HER beach in San Diego! As I’ve told you before, your blog (as well as Starfish blog) reminds me of how ‘normal’ I am & that most of us women just want the same basic things in life.
