We love lanterns

We love lanterns don’t we but sometimes they can be hard to find.  if you are lucky enough to find a vintage one you are lucky indeed..like grace over at Grace Happens..hers are so unique.

{Grace Happens}

But honestly many of the mass produced lanterns from catalogs are great too..

I love my pottery barn lantern ..it’s out of stock now, no idea if it’s returning.

[Remember i painted the copper top a matte black to change the look) but these big box alternatives are selling out fast..the Wisteria gothic lantern has been sold out and I have heard that others have been selling out or on backorder…here are some other alternatives…

 Richmond Outdoor Hanging Lantern

from Shades of light here… not cheap but great looking..personally i am a $200 and under kind of lantern girl if possible BUT i would like this one for my front porch maybe….

 Richmond Outdoor Light

Also from Shades of Light..its as close to the gaslight Savannah look i will ever get!;;;

The one below is also from Shades of Light and a great price…

 Chicken Wire Smokebell Lantern

I have always loved the Eldridge pendant at Ballard (there is a pricier version at Restoration) and it doesn’t seem to sell out..its such a copy of Houston’s  very own BROWN  lighting..my dream lantern source!

Eldridge Pendant

I realy like this one too..

 Rustic Galvanized Cross Hatch Lantern

I also love this one from Ballard..i hope they are making plenty of the Calisse!

Calisse 4-Light Pendant

Where have you found a unique lantern? Or are you already over the trend? Favorite lighting sources???

OH AND NO COINCIDENCE I AM FEATURING LIGHT TODAY, GOOD FRIDAY, CHRIST IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. Thank you Jesus for your love and sacrifice.
