Ideas You Should Steal

Or copy or borrow or whatever..steal sounds sooo BADDD (ha!) but that is what the girls at Kelly+Olive are calling their new e-book.  It’s a great little book and I am honored they asked me to be a part..here is what they have to say about the amazing project!

Ideas You Should Steal contains 17 fun projects submitted by top home, craft, and lifestyle bloggers from all over the web. Learn how to make an end table out of a suitcase, how to stencil your walls using a toilet paper roll, or even make your own rug! we know there is a project in here that will inspire you! For a donation as little as $1, you can have a copy of your own. and we’re happy to say that 100% of the proceeds of this book go to Dwell with Dignity! Dwell with Dignity was founded to help hard-working individuals and families in need to just that – dwell with dignity. using re-purposed and recycled items, they create beautiful and creative homes for families in transitional housing, giving deserving families a fresh start and a new outlook on life. hopefully, such inspiration will help them break the punishing cycle of poverty and homelessness and give them a new outlook on life.

I love that they worked so hard on this and are donating 100% to a wonderful cause- Dwell with Dignity in Dallas, Texas. I really interested and amazed at what they are doing over at Dwell with Dignity and I hope this entire project is a huge success.

Henry is GROWING

My baby is growing so fast..he is hardly a baby..so rough and tumble.  I can’t believe he will be 21 months next week!

Here are just a few pictures to show you, ha!..we did a little photo shoot in the backyard yesterday..this is not his usual attire..i was going through big brother’s easter/sunday clothes to see what fits..uhhh not much as you can tell if you notice the legs on his jon-jon. I have a picture of Drew in this linen sailor suit at the same age.. sigh, my cup runneth over!

I will be honest, motherhood is a challenge for me.  I love my boys and my family but two boys is a lot of chaos for me..We have a lot going on as you do! And I fight selfishness and exhaustion and lack of patience, often.

But they are so special. It’s pretty amazing to watch them grow and develop. And we are changing too. God is refining our family and making us more dependent on Him.

Download these wonderful little cards here as a reminder.  Thanks Emily for sharing these!

And remember its not all linen suits and smocking everyday, anywhere…but there is joy in the little moments..so thankful i have been catching those more lately.
