wedding feast

Thank you so much for all of your beautiful words of encouragement. So many of you left comments or emailed me with your stories and they are balm to my soul.  Many of you have painful memories and scars but you are women of faith and have encouraged me and others.

Your Father must be very pleased. It is good to share our burdens and begin to heal.

i have had this photo  above bookmarked for some time.  I think it so beautiful..It reminds me of what heaven might be like…

which brings me to this random song..one of my faves.

Back to regular programming soon.  After all i have a little boy about to turn two and a big boy SO EXCITED about getting baptized! Life goes on.

  1. Life does go on…one day at a time..one breath at a time. This is one of those parts of the journey when it is good to let God allow life’s busy-ness to keep you going. Can’t wait to see what you have planned for the birthday party! I loved the silhouette one you did, so I know this will be good too. You are one talented girl!

p.s. The feast above is amazing, and I want the screened porch at the beginning of the video!

  2. Holly,
That photo reminds me of the song, “Come to the feast of heaven and earth! Come to the table of plenty! God will provide for all that we need, here at the table of plenty.”

Now I’m gonna have that song stuck in my head today…I’m so glad you helped put it there 🙂

  7. Dear Holly,
Read your blog yesterday and didn’t know what to say to you. Your friends have written such lovely things to you…you are loved.
Read your blog today and I was touched by life going on…the excitement of a 2 year old’s birthday party and the pure heavenly joy of seeing your child baptized.
Rest and heal in Him. Let Him lead you down the road as life goes on.
    Love,
    Tracey

  8. I love this image as an idea of what Heaven will be like…a wedding and amazing fellowship. Thanks for sharing this Holly – it is such a good reminder that we have so much to look forward to.
    Have a great weekend!

  9. i have never met you, and i’m sure i feel i know you much better than you feel you know me – just some e-client who sends too-long emails with too many pictures and too many questions. but our children are the exact same ages, and our third would have also been… and i am crying for you right now…but how awesome that you know Jesus, and now you have the joyful anticipation of not only being held by His sovereign arms someday, but also of meeting your precious third child at those gates, ready to bring momma home. (and this is also one of my very very favorite songs.)
