But it is a bit pricey. And that is the thing, Shades of Light carries some high end brands but its all accessible right along with some more reasonably priced things..for instance the light above is $439 but the one below is a similar look for $175!
Keep in mind, Shades of Light carries many great lighting and home decor brands, of varying styles and price points..and even antiques!

Congrats on having them as a sponsor. I love so many of the items you highlighted. The wall sconces would be great in my bedroom. And that loft shade chandelier has captured my imagination. Going to have to Pin It so I don’t forget it.
I LOVE that map…..I had no idea they carried items like that! And I have always wanted a moravian star light in my house….I need taller ceilings!
I’ve never been to Shades of Light before, but I’m heading there now to check them out. There are SO many light fixtures I’m itching to change out in my home.

I really like the smokebell and the map of New York – especially since I am needing a black and white map!(not easy to find) I also wanted to say that I love the new look of your blog. Your “about” section looks great as do your new ribbon accents on the sidebar. I am working on customizing my new blog – hopefully ready in a week or so- and it is making me notice every little detail on blogs I read. (It has gotten so bad that when we go to a restaurant to eat I notice the font on the menu before the food!! That’s pretty sad.)
The sconces on the blue wall are the ones I chose for the stairwell! Love them. Beautiful new picture of you, too!

Question- where did you get the monogram pillows on your clients bed? I really want a nice monogrammed pillow for my baby girl’s nursery! I’m due in two weeks and that is one of the only things left to do.

Love these fixtures! I have bought a few things from them, including the beautiful loft ceiling fixture, and have always been so happy with them. On another note, any suggestions for design or antique stores in San Antonio? I am traveling there from Chicago this weekend and am dying to do some good shopping! thanks so much-

I love Shades of Light! They are one of my favorite resources too. I love that they are expanding their product lines.
Love them. I ordered Maddie’s overhead light for her bedroom from them….it is a scalloped fabric flushmount with black trim. She loves her “flower” light. Those lamps with the matching shades are contenders for bedside table lamps in her bedroom as well.
