My legal department

From the Legal Department at Holly Mathis Interiors

My husband (an actual attorney) has asked me to post this.  I know it’s not as exciting as Round Top photos, but we want to protect my readers and my reputation as much as possible.

With the popularity of HollyMathisInteriors.com comes copy-cats, wanna-be-profiteers, and unfortunately… the stalker haters.  Holly Mathis Interiors will never endorse any product that is not specifically mentioned on the Holly Mathis Interiors website/blog.  Over the last few days similar photos of Holly Mathis Interiors blog site posts have been appearing online.  Holly Mathis Interiors does not endorse or associate with any blog that is not specifically listed on the Holly Mathis Interiors website (not including the comment sections).  Even then, those listed blogs/advertisers must stand on their own, and Holly Mathis Interiors MAKES NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND related to those businesses or blogs.  Do not hesitate to contact my legal department if you have questions about the authenticity of a Holly Mathis photo, product, or endorsement.

I hate to have to bring this up but when clients and friends alert me to things on social media, I have to respond on some level. Now, have some fun and scroll down to read something you’re actually interested in…I am on my way to San Antonio this weekend to see Big Mama and other clients, can’t wait to report on Big Mama’s renovations!

Also, several have emailed about coming out to Round Top next week..and “will the show still be going on?”  YES YES YES. in fact some of the best shows start tuesday and wednesday so COME ON DOWN! For more information remember to go to www.roundtop.org

  1. Sorry to hear that. My husband says that sort of stuff happens all the time. In fact last night he was grumbling about domain and trademark campers.

  2. Love how your “legal department” is looking out for you!;). Made me smile…
Hope you are well, dear friend and I know I owe you an email. Enjoy the hunt! Wish I could go with you…

  3. Well, you know you’ve “made it” when the copycats come out- ask Kade Spate. (I don’t buy fakes for this reason, as a creative person, I ethically disagree. If I can’t afford a labeled designer item, then get the plain one!)

I’m sorry about the haters. Hate somewhere else!

Thanks for keeping it real for us!

  4. I worked in licensing for awhile for NFL/Reebook and as a developer for another big clothing manufacturer. It is an extremely tough job to keep things real & authentic. It takes teams of people. Fakes earn BILLIONS of dollars every year and fund some big time drug/gang and other activities.
But just like a jersey, your work is a complicated process and you deserve the credit for all your hard (not to mention) beautiful work! Who wouldn’t want something you created?!

As for haters, you have too many admirers to worry about them! But I guess it comes with the territory, even though it shouldn’t.
    Keep up the amazing transformations!

  5. Being married to an attorney does have its perks 🙂 Glad you have him to look out for you, and your business!

  6. Definately heed the advice of your husband! God chose him for you and vice versa for His master plan. I work in the Courts and have seen firsthand the consequenses of stalkers, abuse, and all around dishonesty. Protect you and yours yes, but do not live in fear.

  7. I am so naive….people just amaze me sometimes! Glad you have your hubby….aka legal team to take care of you! God has blessed you with an amazing talent and NO one can take that away!
Btw….have I told you i am LOVING my house lately!!!!!

  8. Nice job Elton. I wouldn’t even know how to do what he’s talking about but bummer that some people do. Have a fun trip. Jealous.

  9. as they say “Haters gonna hate.”

proud of you for posting this. and proud of your legal man.
