After spending the day at Marburger fillming the video above, I headed over to a party at Rachel Ashwell’s “Prairie” with my friend Lynsey Kramer (she snapped the photo above) …

I have been to the Prairie before but heard there was a new structure..so I was excited to see it…part chapel, part party barn
the porch..classic Texas from the front door, but with a shabby chic, english rose kind of spin inside! Great time of day too.. sad i only had my phone camera and not a real chance to get good pictures. Oh well I still have to share.
There was something about the inside that reminded me of my historic old home church and tabernacle…very simple and unpretensious maybe. I guess you call that “honest materials” and decor. I like that.
That Texas sky doesn’t hurt the “feel” either…

AND finally the end of the night…such a fun day…yes its blurry but you know i have to post this one to end with! Moi, Rachel Ashwell and two of my fave people in the world Lynsey Kramer of Yonder Way Farm and Becki Griffin of Curious Details who appeared at the end of the video and of course I blogged about Becki recently too!

I haven’t had a chance to watch the video, but will. I saw that picture of you on instagram and commented on how cute you look. What woman doesn’t hate to take pictures, so what a bonus when we get ones we like.
Rachel is a doll, running into her has become a regular occurrence for all us local girls. How lucky are we that she placed a few roots in Round Top and has embraced the area.

Wow Holly…so cool! Love Rachel Ashwell, a true design pioneer. I still enjoy going into her store in Santa Monica. So jealous! Looks like a great time! Happy for you 🙂
