Y’all have noticed there have been issues with the blog and website, we had a problem but it is being fixed and the shop will be back soon.
In the meantime, I need to share some photos from our spring break trip. We had a great time in Louisiana of course. Drew was so excited just to be getting on a plane..look at that happy face!
Our first stop on Friday was a visit to the Creole plantation called Lara Plantation..so interesting. And then Saturday while my client and I shopped, her husband (what a saint!) took their little girl (also 8 years old) and Drew for a fishing adventure.
She and I had a full day of shopping on Saturday. We bought some new pieces for her dining room. I love this tree print.

We shopped till we dropped on Saturday, visited Jerome Boudreaux’s fab shop Old Estate in Thibodaux. We bought this amazing thin little sofa table..i love it because it looks like a kneeler or something from an old church but its reproduction. Perfect little addition to this room. Excuse the phone pics. I will be doing more portfolio of this house one day but didn’t even take my big camera this trip.
We also visited by good friend Melisse at Campbell’s Melange in Baton Rouge
Sunday we visited the amazing National World War II Museum. Drew LOVED that experience.
It was a wonderful time with great food and hospitality and my boy..and of course shopping but I sure was happy to get back to this little guy and his Daddy on Sunday!
Daddy snapped this picture on their way to church on Sunday!
Good to be home! and Thanks for your patience with the technical issues!

Hooray for mother-son trips! So glad you got to go and that you all had a great time. Hugs to Drew and Mr. Henry!
Such a fun mother/son getaway! Glad you had a great time!
