Pressing Events ~ Houston

I love paper and have always said if I wasn’t a decorator I would love to have a stationery store!  Monogram, letterpress, engraving, fonts and the feel of paper…love it all.  So I am thrilled to welcome Houston’s Pressing Events to the blog as a sponsor. I belive strongly in buying and promoting local when possible and this is a great business to check out if you live in the area. I have enjoyed chatting and getting to know with the store’s owner Nancy Calvert.

Pressing Events is 5 years old and offers all types of printing.  It is in  the Town and Country/Memorial area of Houston so very convenient location!~
They have a commercial printer and their own letter press.
In addition to stationery they are also the only store in Houston outside of the Galleria selling MacKenzie-Childs.
Haven’t we all loved Mackenzie-Childs forever…Nancy has so much of it in stock.  I want the teapot and enamel plates to remind me of my black and white floor I left behind in the old house! (hint hint Mr Santa)
They also offer Arthur Court serve ware, Coton Colors, Tyler & Lafco Candles and Embroidery.  They have a commercial embroidery machine but also have a smaller machine for producing custom digitized designs.  You know what that means….MONOGRAMS…oh the monogram cloth napkins they can create and in a fast turnaround!  Great wedding presents.
And as of this Fall they are offering photography.  Pressing Events has always created lay flat professional wedding albums and now they are also doing Photoshopped improvements to the customer’s own photos.
I love their topiaries and black and white awning outside…so cute.
So lots of cute stuff, buy local and go meet Nancy and her crew if you are in Houston! Pressing Events is located at 791 Town & Country Blvd., Suite 154 | Houston, TX 77024 | Office: (713 ) 973.9590 | Toll Free: (888) 973.9590 Be sure and follow them on Instagram and Facebook so you can see updates about Christmas cards and more holiday cuteness!
Note: Holly Mathis Interiors occasionally does blogs posts highlighting sponsors who purchase ads.  They do pay me fees for their ads and I will always disclose any products or paid advertising at the end of posts.  I also work with several online shops and ad networks such as google to help with the expense of maintaining the site. As a rule I do not do embedded links or giveaways. Read more about my blogging policy and philosophy at the bottom of this page.
