My very own little POP UP SHOP is opening TOMORROW in my office/studio in historic downtown BRENHAM, TEXAS at 220 East Alamo Street!!! I am so excited!
Since I found this space a year ago I knew it was too much space for just an office but it is such a wonderful place and I have spent the last year experimenting with what it should be…a place for classes, local art, pop up vintage or other goods??. . .. and so the experiment continues! I plan to be open “most” Thursday/Friday/Saturdays from 10 am -6 pm. Since this is a Pop Up Shop and not an official store you will need to check on Instagram before you make a trip but I can guarantee I will be opens these days during Texas Antique Week. I continue to consult with and adore TRUE BLUE HOME in Chappell Hill (one town over) this is just my own little venture in closer to our home- where we live and go to school! So don’t get confused, True Blue Home is in Chappell Hill and is open and thriving and my Pop Up & Studio are in Brenham, 15 miles a way in the downtown district, one block east of the courthouse! So now you have two places on your “must see list” when you come down Hwy 290 from Houston to Austin! Not to mention Leftovers Antiques (which has expanded!) and all of the other wonderful shops here and Round Top. Whether it is during Antiques time or not, there is so much to do out here in Washington County, Texas! And we all carry different things so you don’t want to miss anything!
What will I have??? Well, first of all I am excited to be an official retailer of Miss Mustard Seed Paint and I will have the paint and brushes and waxes in stock!
And books, old and new…cards, candles and of course a few rugs and random accents, and pillows we must have pillows right!
I hope you can make it this week of not, then soon! Remember to follow me on instagram #hollymathisinteriors.com for updates!
I determined to visit this area the next time we’re in Austin visiting our son and family. It will probably be in the spring but there are so many shops of interest and I’ve made notes for our next visit. Good luck with this week’s pop up shop. I’m sure there are some real treasures.
