Christmas faves

Sharing some of my fave photos of Christmas past today . . .

I think this might be my fave holiday image ever from my own “work” or home;

And I loved this cozy Christmas nest in our “new old house”…this room will always be an important part of our history.

It’s so interesting how the same furniture and things can look so comforting and the same in different settings but also so different in different homes..the kids and I still sit around this scrubbed pine table every day!

When it comes to Christmas I love red and I love wreaths, lots of wreaths….and lots of bowls of ornaments!

Wide red ribbon for the win! The two pine pieces in this room were so awesome and I no longer have them…”shared them” with clients when we moved..so glad to know they are being enjoyed in their homes now…

I miss this house and the promise I thought it held for our family but I don’t regret the beauty I was able to create here, it was all part of our story.

Clinging to the Advent season and its true meaning….clinging to the the words of C.S. Lewis as well!

  1. I know this home was not what you’d hoped for and holds all sorts of emotions but in terms of Christmas decor it rates as my all-time favorite. It is tasteful, beautiful and oh so classy. Your talent shines so brightly in this home. I wish you and your boys the happiest of holidays and continued peace.

  2. Holly,
    I agree with you and C.S. Lewis. That said, your work in the last house was probably one of my favorite Christmas-decorated houses on line ever. I absolutely loved every loving touch you put into the rooms you shared. I imagine your current home is just as charming and lovely…you are so talented and make every space I’ve see of your designs so warm and welcoming.
    Enjoy the season!
