Cottage Blue Bed & Breakfast

Cottage Blue Bed & Breakfast, formerly known as True Blue Cottage, is now available for overnight guests during Round Top/Texas Antiques Week, the summer and beyond.  The cottage sleeps up to 4, has a full kitchen and dining as well as charming screen porch area.  You can book the cottage here

As many of you know, I worked with Cindy & Brian Taylor to remodel and decorate True Blue Cottage in 2015 while we were also working on their retail venture, True Blue Home. Many (most in fact) of the furnishings for the TBH renovation are still in the cottage including white slipcovers, English Farmhouse furniture, custom drapes and beautiful lighting.  True Blue Home has recently moved from downtown Chappell Hill to a larger space on nearby Hwy 290… more soon on their expansion into a new space that includes a bakery and cafe and more showroom space!  IT IS AMAZING truly. Follow them on facebook and watch for their new website and online store!

It has been an honor to be a part of this journey for True Blue Home and the cottage.  When Christine and her mom (the new owners) stepped in my Studio last fall and said “we might be buying the cottage,” I knew the joy and beauty of the space would be maintained.  I am thrilled to be a part of the next chapter…and now you can some STAY in the cottage!~ Are there still a few spots available for Round Top weekend as of now…

God bless you Cottage Blue, your owners, and all who walk through your doors!

Visit the Cottage Blue website to learn more about the new owners and booking info.

  1. What I love most about your style is the talent you have to make a home inviting and charming without being overly precious. There’s a sense that someone lives in the space and yet it’s not overly “decorated”. Does that make sense? I have to get down to your area sometime during our visit to our family in Austin.
