Or maybe you need a simple message like the print below by Gus and Lula..i love the pretty gray..would look so great in white frame, matted or not..i need her give thanks print soon..

My problem is i have too many and not enough walls or frames, so i give them as gifts or rotate them.

Of course this post hasn’t even touched on the use of traditonal art like drawings/paintings etc.., like this wonderful piece below from Lisa Golightly or this fab source, or keepsakes, letters and other objects. I say use the quotes and etsy prints sparsely, you dont want it to look like a dorm room probably but frame the ones you love and enjoy!

Some of you may have seen this blog or heard about it on other blogs, well today Sugarfresh is here at Holly Mathis Interiors. Lindsay, the force behind Sugarfresh, contacted me about advertising and doing a giveaway and instantly remembered her work..i have admired it for quite a while and I am thrilled to have it here!

I just love her taste in color..this is the best pink in my opinion!

In fact, she has an amazing color chart..i love when printers give this flexibility!

Which one did i get for my boys??? This one..so cute..and so them! It’s called “Mr Numbers” love the gray of course!

And of course i love this one too..love the font. Very craftsmany/art deco.

Taking a little blogging break to spend time with the family but just had to share this find!

You’ve seen this blogger’s amazing kitchen and bathroom redo on my blog and others, and even in a national magazine but have you seen her etsy shop Coastline???? Grace is so talented and nice.  Her burlap creations are the first of their kind on etsy.  Just this past weekend I saw burlap runners at Pottery Barn but hers are much cuter…some have scallops which i love and some have white accents..i LOVE white with burlap..so fresh.

I am about to have a wing chair slipped in simple ticking stripe for my living room..So i love this runner below too..hard to decide which is my favorite.

and banners..she makes banners too..I have a banner addiction.  You  may have noticed at Henry’s birthday party.  Those finally had to come down.  But lucky me, look what just came in the mail?!

Just in time to spruce up my porch and get over the post party “bare porch” blues…thanks Grace.  Y’all be sure and check out Coastline and Grace’s blog..you are sure to be inspired!

The canvas prints were okay but the pillows I’m not sure about….maybe cute for a teen’s room or dorm? Hey maybe a good graduation gift?! I think you can actually buy a print on etsy for less than the canvas at Target ..but hey I’m not knocking..I am sure many are excited…just please remember, as much as I love Target, you can buy this at Etsy from a printmaker or similar and get something less mass produced..if you care, if you don’t that is fine too..

Notice on the trays, the wording is different and there are forks in the crown!

Feed the Soul is a really neat project. It was started with the notion that during these hard economic times, people should still be able to enjoy art that inspires. (This reminds me of  WPA art..not stylistically or even the same situation but it made me think of WPA murals which I adore..there is one in Hamilton, Texas, by the way!)

So ANYWAY, various artists have joined forces and put these images up on this site and they are available to print, for free. I love this. 

Many would be wonderful in a children’s space, really the possiblities are endless. Enjoy!
