Is it totally crazy to paint my red tolix chairs blue or green just for Easter??? I think I am over the red..at least until July right? They are good from Christmas through Presidents Day and Valentines and Texas Independence Day (which is Sat March 2!) but then I may getting out the spray paint?? Thoughts??

I don’t love pink so I would never do that except for a shower maybe but I do like this preppy springtime green.
Just kidding, I love red anytime but the pastels and bright colors are cute! Or maybe just white..which do you prefer?

you are NOT totally crazy. i wanted to do all red for my kitchen table and knew that the plain ol’ metal was needed….but i love yours outside!! you know i love your porch. i think those green are super cute!
oh & ps, one our favorite spots in seaside, bud & ally’s pizza bar, uses all red/orangey tolix. i LOVE that look. oh my!

I’m in the minority here, but I’ll vote for red–it’s always classic. (Maybe a spring coverup for the chairs? Saw something by Matthew Mead)

I agree– you need a second set! Your red ones are so beautiful and so good for anytime (and Christmas, Valentine’s Day, 4th of July)! Did you paint the red ones in the first place or did you buy them like that? I LOVE them and would love some just like that!

I change things every month! So I would absolutely spray paint them for the seasons…they can always be painted red again come July. My wicker wears MANY coats…and I am about to take out red and put in yellow around here (major job considering how much red there is.) For years, I used a zillion cans from Lowes…finally got a professional machine, and it has made it so much easier (and expanded my color selection too.) Your chairs will wear any color beautifully!
Oh I forgot to say my preference…love the green! (but yellow would be cute too…even though you aren’t considering it.)
I love the blue, green or white. Maybe a grass green.
But yes you need a second set. I love and adore the red ones and then you could mix the colors for dinners and events – red and blue chairs for 4th of July, Texas Independence, red and green would be fun for Christmas, red and white for so many times of the year.
I love your blog, but this post makes me think you are bored and looking for something to change for no good reason. Be happy with what you have in these chairs already. They are adorable the way they are.
You are right Leslie, i have plenty to change for good reason..like i have found cuter fabric or something: seriously i was being facetious in the post..note i did say just kidding but i do love the pastel chairs. But y’all do need to know if you didn’t already that these toilx chairs are stackable so easy to store if you or I wanted to buy more just for the heck of it. (Kidding, just kidding)
Holly – I know you are just teasing, but those are such fun colors! If it were me, I’d go with mint green (which is actually getting my wheels turning a bit). Good to know they are stackable because this tempts me even more! So fun to pull out for an outdoor dinner party or shower or something.

Please paint the chairs the blue/green in the first pics!! This is my favorite year around color. It looks awesome with red at Christmas or for Independance Day, orange pops against it for fall and spring with yellows is just the best! Aqua and white are my neutrals in my home and I have yet to tire of it!!
I think red is never wrong! SO sorry I did not snap similar ones adn stoools when I had the chance.
