It’s Round Top Antiques Fair time in Texas!
This year will be extra special for me because I get to explore it with my blogging buddy Emily from Jones Design Company. Emily and her bff (along with bff’s 6 month old baby Eli, a cute baby boy..yall know how i love baby boys) arrived in Texas TODAY! If you remember, I visited Emily in Seattle just a few weeks ago..we have created a “blogging exchange program” and it has been a blessing!
{I’m not sure, but i have a hunch that Emily is going to like Round Top? Gaging by these photos, what do you think?? ha}
Aside from the eating and laughing and creative talk, Emily has become a true friend. And her buddy KC and I instantly clicked. I am thankful for these girls and can’t wait to tell you about our weekend!

Speaking of Round Top, I will be back with a full report on Monday to give you some ideas where to shop next week. (we are going on saturday known as preview weekend..Round Top is actually near two weeks) Anyway, I always suggest Zapp Hall and Marburger, Blue Hills and La Bahia..just dig in there and start walking and shopping! Who knows, in the fall I may do something where i can meet up with clients and readers for my own guided tour of my favorite spots. I am no expert on every inch of Round Top but it would be fun to take field trip with yall!

I took a quick trip down there yesterday. So many wonderful things – it’s going to be a good show. But be warned it was HOT and very, very dusty (more than normal). Be sure and stop by the shops behind Pandora Balthazar’s tent. I found some fabulous things! Have fun and be safe.

Holly … I am going next weekend Friday to Sunday for the first time. I am so excited!! Michelle Fritz said she would drive out one day and kind of show me the ropes. I want to be able to see as much of the things that I am interestd in as possible. Hopefully we’ll see you there! Vikki

Headed down next Friday and Saturday with my sweet friend Vanessa. My folks live in Brenham, so I been several times. I have some favorite areas, but can’t wait to here where you like to head to when you get there. Emily will want to move to Texas after her Round Top experience. Ya’ll have fun. (Still thinking I want you to help me with my office.) BTW sign me up for the Fall adventure!

I’ve never been, but have ALWAYS wanted to go. Maybe I can convince a friend to go with met his year since we actually own a house that needs filling. Someday, I will take off work and attend the Junk-o-rama prom in all its glory!!!
