Round Top Antiques Show

Its that time again in Texas and the shows are in full swing..those that haven’t opened will soon..Marburger on Tuesday and the others to follow… I am excited because one of my biggest influences, Carol Hicks Bolton, will have a booth at Marburger this year!

I am sure many of you have followed Carol over the years in the shelter magazines and through her stores (Homestead and others) in Frederickburg, Texas. I remember in college walking in her store for the first time and seeing how she mixed fabrics and thinking THIS IS WHAT I LOVE this is brilliant! Well she is back ..a new store! There is a great post about it here on the Curious Sofa blog!

In fact, she is speaking to bloggers today at a luncheon and I am beyond excited! So be sure and check her booth at Marburger..looks like she will have some great farm tables and other items!

And here she is pictured below! So cute..can’t wait to  hear what she has to say to the bloggers.

For more info on Round Top and good spots to shop..check this post from LLH Designs, past posts here and here on my blog. This link for Marburger show info, Zapp hall here, and the Big Red Barn info is here! And don’t forget to stop by Leftovers on the way out there and check Antique Gypsey, Beadboard Upcountry and the ice cream parlors in town! And of course drive out to Rachel Ashwell’s place if you need some shabby goodness!
